This gorgeous family reached out several months ago wanting to schedule a family photoshoot and cakesmash. With three kids under the age of two, they knew that the typical studio-style cakesmash probably would be a hand full. I recommended an outdoor cakesmash at the end of a family shoot, and we all agreed that it was just perfect for what they were looking for! Mom did an AMAZING job styling their session with soft blues, denims and creams and pulled in some muted pink for the cakesmash as well. I just love the mixing and matching of sweet and simple patterns too.

We took some amazing family photos, photos of the kids, and then relaxed and played some games on the beach that kept the girls engaged. Once we were done, we did a quick outfit change and it was time for cake! I absolutely love family cakesmashes because not only does the birthday girl get to have her moment to shine, but the entire family gets involved which always results in the sweetest pictures!
