A Fairfield Family Beach Photo Session - CT Family Photographer

As we approach a hopeful reopening this spring and summer for outdoor family shoots, I wanted to get a few favorites from last year up on the blog! Family shoots are so much fun. I’ve found that I approach every shoot with a plan as well as tried and true games and prompts, but truly every session ends up being unique to that family, their personalities and of course their kiddos!

This shoot took place at a remote beach in Fairfield, CT on a beautiful night at the end of the summer last year. We were all a little chilly at first, but we distracted ourselves with lots of fun games and had so much fun capturing this baby girl’s sweet age! I loved the tones that they styled their session with - one of my all-time favorites, actually! The muted sage paired with neutrals was so beautiful against the sand and greens. Wardrobe is so important for your photography session, and that is why I love to provide wardrobe options as well as tons of guidance and recommendations!
